Now that the exotic automaker Bugatti’s latest open air super car, the Veyron Grand Sport, has officially gone into production, our friends from CAR had the chance to get behind the wheel and have a little fun with the wind in their hair at over 250 MPH. Unfortunately it didn’t rain during their test drive, so they didn’t get to try out the makeshift umbrella/roof that will keep you dry in a pinch, but the one thing you have to love about the Grand Sport is the 420 KPH speedometer.

The last part was hilarious. Count on the British guys to offer humour with a good review without being biased. Wish I could say the same for some American sites. cough..IL, C&D..cough.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is powered by the same monster engine as it’s hard-top brother and has the same, 407 km/h, top speed although as Scooby mentioned already the speed in reduced to 360 for this top down monster
Priced at 1.4 million Euros, only 150 units of this topless beauty will be produced. However, with the top off, the top speed of this version is reduced to 360 km/h.
