Video: Chevy Volt goes through Water Trough Test

  news

General Motors must have a lot invested in the Chevrolet Volt EV. The new electric car is still about a year away from seeing the dealerships but GM isn’t wasting time as far as promoting and marketing what the Volt can – or presumably, cant – do.

In their latest released video, the Chevy Volt goes through a flood test at the Milford Proving Ground to highlight just how the batteries inside the car will be sealed in the event of an actual flood.

Check out the video to see the Volt turn into an amphibious vehicle.

Then that is one less worry about electric car. The next one will be the availability of electricity at certain places. See I travel a lot and there are a lot of areas that I visit that does not have electricity. It could be difficult then to charge the ride.

A lot of electric concept cars are venturing that kind of test and I think it’s kinda exaggerating for Chevy Volt to have an official video of testing the capability of this car. I know for a fact that this car was damn good but for Christ sake, stop it right there.
