Video: Commercial planes make for an awesome 'race'

We never see this sort of thing happening so you should excuse us for getting a good laugh out of this. Now, obviously, this wasn’t a real drag strip run-around race by two commercial planes - we shudder to think the ramifications of something like that actually happening - so we don’t expect the FAA to have their jaws drop on the floor with what could have been a laundry list of violations.

What it appears to be is a foreign commercial that pits two sets of pilots from competing airline carriers together to try to figure out which could run the length of the tarmac and around back to the hangar in the quickest possible time.

The ’race’, as some of you would call it, comes with tons of stunts that should never be done in a real-world setting. Unless of course some pilot has the cojones to perform donuts with a full-sized commercial plane, then we’re pretty content seeing a commercial show just how its done - even if there’s some post-production magic done it.

Laugh with us, folks! Check out the video and enjoy the ’race’!

haha! That is the most hilarious race I’ve ever seen ever! Two Plane racing each other? Lol! I think I don’t want to see a real thing doing that.

I would say that the face of the traffic controller is such a humour! It feels like watching a race in on of Fast and the Furious movie!

Those planes knows how to drift and both don’t have a difficulty in the corner!Wow!I wonder if this thing could happen in real life.

Hey the commercial is based on the race and may be because of this it landed in this section. See the horror on the face of the traffic controller when the place crossed over him. The pilots seems to be enjoying the race. Nice ad.

Well, that one is definitely one heck of an ad. The idea is actually rather cool, but you will probably want to bolt out of the plane if a pilot actually does that in real life.

That’s funny. I was really entertained. Great jaw dropping scene! Is there any behind the scene of this TVC?

Hahaha! That’s definitely one hell of a watch. Imagine if some crazy pilot would actually do that while you were onboard a flight. That would definitely be “in-flight entertainment”.

That was extremely crazy! I can’t understand what they are talking about. But its good to play together.

haha. that was funny though! but wait...what does the commercial aircraft doing in the car section?
