Just the other day, Chevrolet unveiled a video showing the new Corvette Stingray getting some work at its Test Center in Dudenhofen, Germany, and today it's Consumer Report's turn to test the new American sports car->ke506. So, was Consumer Reports impressed by the all-new `Vette, or was it a big flop?

Well, of course it was thoroughly impressed by the new `Vette!

According to Consumer Reports, "the seventh-generation Chevy Corvette Stingray->ke4603 pushes the iconic sports car to new levels of technology, agility, and refinement."

As a reminder, the new Stingray is powered by an all-new direct-injected, 6.2-liter, V-8 engine that delivers a total of 460 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 465 pound-feet of torque at 4,600 rpm. This output helps sprint the Stingray from 0 to 60 mph in less than four seconds -- 3.8 seconds with the Z51 package -- and up to an anticipated top speed of 180 to 190 mph.
