Video: F1 Race Stars drops preview trailer leading up to November 13th release

  news

Far removed from the realistic, and often times way too serious world of Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, video game developer Codemasters is offering a racing game that’s a little more in tune with the inner child in all of us.

Taking its cue from the wild and wacky world of Mario Kart, Codemasters is bringing the world of Formula 1 to a more cartoonish world. The game is called F1 Race Stars and as the preview trailer shows us, there’s plenty to like about the game, including the prevalent power ups (not seen in the real world of Formula 1) and the ability to use DRS to one’s advantage (seen in the world of Formula 1).

Codemasters is also touting the gameplay of F1 Race Stars, particularly the career mode that offers three levels of difficulty, as well as a slew of challenges, timed races, and even Grand Prix competitions. Really, if you’re a little spent with the hours upon hours of playing GT5 or Forza 4, the F1 Race Stars will offer you a fresh way to enjoy Formula 1 racing.

The game will be drop on shelves this coming November and will be available on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 consoles.

car games develop a competitive personality, while shooters develop a violent one. so any car game is welcomed!

i’d rather have my kids play any car game than any shooter. i think it is less violent.
