If you recall last year’s Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari thrilled us with the debut of the Ferrari 599XX, but since then, the Prancing Horse has relegated the supercar to dealership or show floor duties; not once have we seen it out on the road or on track unleashing its holy fury for all of us to behold.
Well, it’s been almost one year and finally, Ferrari has finally let the 599XX out of its cage.
Led by Formula One driver Felipe Massa, a group of six other drivers, all of who are members of Ferrari’s Corse Clienti program converged at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, Spain to do a run on-board the 599XX – all seven of them.
If first impressions are any indication, then you can just imagine our giddiness when we saw this video of seven 599XXs in action for the first time. We won’t spoil anything or keep you waiting so go ahead and watch it for yourselves.

Today Felipe Massa was the main protagonist on the last day of the Ferrari 599XX’s activities with its debut on the track. The Brazilian driver, who will be busy as of tomorrow in the first official Formula 1 test session this season held at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo circuit, met the clients, who, by purchasing the non-homologated sports Berlinetta, planned exclusively to use on the track, participate in the exclusive programme bearing the same name. After several laps on board of the car Felipe said: "I really enjoyed testing this car, I think it’s extremely powerful and has an exceptional stability. Considering that it has been planned for the track it’s really easy to drive."
The clients showed great enthusiasm for the Ferrarista sharing the debut of this exceptional car: they now have a series of events ahead of them Ferrari will organise on race tracks in America, Europe and Asia, including the Finali Mondiali. Just like in Valencia on these occasions the cars will be taken care of by the team of official technicians, able to guarantee the necessary support and assistance.
Sweet. I surely don’t want to be a passenger on that car as it is scary. I wonder though on how much G force those turns and acceleration create for the driver and how can they cope up with it. It must be a very weird feeling or something.
Too bad Michael Schumacher is not with the Ferrari team but with Mercedes instead. He would have looked great pushing this car to its limit. Anyways, the video seems really a great teaser. I mean it kinda gets you excited and would want to be behind the wheels of that great car.
Finally they’ve tested the 599xx on track, I’ve always wanted to be a test driver of ferrari, because test drivers are the first one who will unleashed it’s horses under the hood. i also want to feel the adrenaline from the ferrari.
