The lucky folks from Fifth Gear were able to scoop up quite a treat recently: a chance to get behind the wheel of the new Renault Megane RS and, judging by the smile on Vicki Butler-Henderson’s face as she was taking the Megane RS out for a stroll, it looks like she had all the fun in the world. Powered by a 2-liter 16-valve turbocharged petrol engine which boasts maximum power of 250hp at 5,500rpm and peak torque of 340Nm from 3,000rpm, the Megane RS is the latest in a long line of production cars that have given a sportier treatment by Renault’s sports division, Renault Sport
So, if you’ve got some time, watch Vicki Butler-Henderson in this video as she explains the inner workings and overall handling of Renault’s new sexy sport hatchback.
Cool driving from the lady. Fifth gear always gets a good shot at a lot of good and great cars. The only cars that I don’t see them driving are the concept cars. Well, even though that some models exist, they don’t go into production. Come to think of it, I don’t see them test driving any van or pick up trucks. Mmmm, wonder why.
