Without question, Gran Theft Auto V is one of the most unique video games to have ever been developed in recent years. Races, for example, are taken in the context of GTA V as surviving the day without getting killed even if it means you having to run over a pedestrian or 10.

The franchise is already rich in history, something that has come to be expected from Rockstar Games' super gaming franchise. Now in its fifth installment, GTA returns packed with improvements on just about every aspect of the game.

The graphics are sharper, the controls have been refined, and the story is still as complicated as ever. But as is the case with the GTA franchise, it's not so much of a thinking man's game as it is pure survival - in the context of trying to complete as many missions as possible.

The game is scheduled to hit shelves on September 17th, which makes it a little more than two months before we get our hands on one. And that's when all the fun begins.
