Video: Jay Leno drives the Spyker C8 Laviolette

Here we are again, entering the world of Jay Leno’s Garage and being ultimately jealous of his infinite opportunities to drive awesome vehicles. In the latest episode of his show, Jay Leno had the chance to get behind the wheels of a Spyker C8 Laviolette , a sports car limited to only 24 units and based on the Spyker C8 Laviolette GT2R.

The C8 Laviolette is powered by an Audi-sourced 4.2-liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 400 bhp. The engine is mated to a manual six-speed Getrag gearbox, driving the rear wheels with a Drexler limited slip differential. With a total weight of 2800 lbs, the C8 Laviolette can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds and can hit a top speed of 185 mph.

So, check out the video to watch the blue shirt and jeans wearing boss drive the C8 Laviolette and try not to think about how many more cars he has had the luxury of driving compared to the rest of us.

Woah, that was real funny. I can’t imagine myself driving together with Jay Leno. Am sure it’ll full of adventure and laughter. He always made his audience to witness some of his one of a kind experience. I know he loved cars so much.

The all denim outfit was funny the first 500 times I saw it... now it just makes me sad

That air inlet on the roof looks....wrong. A more forward / top of wind shield inlet the shape of the grill would look way better. I see that they are using the same shape as the side inlets, but looks forced on the top

I agree, jay is one hell of a car collector. well his collection is rare and limited cars.

lovely sports car collection of jay leno is now open for public use.

I love this car so much. It shouldn’t even be offered in automatic. You have to have that cool shift linkage. Cooler than any Ferrari, Lamborghini or Aston martin.
