Matt Farah has owned an Aston Martin Vanquish->ke1316 for about nine years, so when it comes to knowing what to expect from the new-generation Vanquish, he should know best.

The 2014 Vanquish is powered by the same 6.0-liter V-12 setup that the 2012 model year uses, but with the output increased to 565 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and a peak torque of 457 pound-feet at 5,500 rpm. As a result, the car sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and up to a top speed of 186 mph.

Along with the more powerful engine, the new Vanquish also features a new design language that we think is the best Aston Martin design hat we’ve seen in the past few years. There is also a highly modified interior, and a revised suspension and braking system.

Check out the video to see if the new-generation Vanquish met all his expectations.
