Mercedes->ke187 announced in April its intention to race in the 2013 Mille Miglia with a host of legends, including: a 1928 SSK; a pair of 300 SLs; a 1955 300 SLR; and a 1954 220. Mercedes made its first appearance in the famous race back in 1931, when it won with an SSK, and then obtained another victory in 1955 with a 300 SLR driven by Stirling Moss.

The 2013 running wasn't as successful as the previous races, but it surely was another opportunity for Mercedes to show off its incredible cars. And driving that amazing lineup of classic cars was no easy task, as a total of 25 experienced technicians were required to keep them on the road day and night. So, next to being a challenge for the cars, the 2013 Mille Miglia was also a challenge for the technicians.

Watch the above video to see how the Mercedes cars handled the 1,000-mile race.
