We always like getting new videos from Top Gear->ke1860 or Fifth Gear because, when we do, we are always guaranteed an exciting trip down whatever fantasy they have in store. Back in June, Fifth Gear treated us all to a virtual ride-along in the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet and Audi R8 Spyder, and that was as surreal an experience as one could get. The treats can't stop there, however, so Fifth Gear has provided yet another dreamlike comparison for us to revel in. In their latest episode, the guys from Fifth Gear have decided to pit two of the most amazing sports cars against each other: the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X FQ-400 and the Nissan GT-R.

The first of them, the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X FQ-400, gets four new high-flow fuel injectors, a new hybrid turbocharger that reduces lag, an upgraded intercooler to handle the additional boost, and a full 3 inch stainless steel exhaust that spits the spent gasses out of a centrally mounted tail pipe. The result is a peak output of 403 HP and 387 lb-ft of torque and a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.

The second machine, the Nissan GT-R->ke1592, zips around in an engine that produces 473 HP at 6400rpm and maximum torque of 433 lbs-ft from 3200 to 5200rpm. The car sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.

'Nuff said. Just go ahead and enjoy yourself.
