The 100th episode of Ignition comes with a special test, as Carlos Lago was invited to Spain to test the new Porsche 918 Spyder. The test was made at the famed Valencia circuit where it looks like the 918 Spyder->ke3629 offers fuel economy results comparable to the Toyota Yaris Hybrid's, despite its impressive performance figures.

The 918 Spyder is powered by a hybrid system that combines a 4.6-liter V-8 engine that delivers a total of 608 horsepower with two electric motors: one powering the front axle and one the rear axle. With a combined output of 887 horsepower and a peak torque rating of 940 pound-feet, the 918 Spyder will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds and up to a top speed of 211 mph.
