Imagine the things you can do in 13 seconds. Not a lot, right?

Well, this aftermarket-tuned Nissan GT-R->ke1592 can do a whole lot in that span of time, enough even to hit speeds in excess of 186 mph.

Understandably, this isn't your regular Nissan GT-R. It's not even your regular tuned GT-R. This bad boy is the GT-R AMS Alpha 12+; a car that carries an unimaginable amount of power to the tune of 1,700 horsepower.

The fellas over at DragTimes managed to capture a video of the GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ giving new meaning to the phrase breakneck speed, putting a whooping on the GT-R until it reached 186 mph in just 12.87 seconds.

But that's not all. If you need to cover a mile in this nasty machine, you can accomplish that in just 22.77 seconds with speeds of around 233 mph. Make no mistake, the GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ is capable of such numbers because of the mind-numbing output it can produce.

Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12

AMS Performance is no stranger to working with Godzilla, having built numerous programs for the Japanese supercar in previous years. First there was the Alpha 10 program that netted 1,100 horsepower. From there, AMS Performance graduated to the precursor of the AMS Alpha 12+, the Alpha 12. While not capable of the 1,700-horsepower output of this rocket, the Alpha 12 was ridiculously powerful in its own right, boasting up to 1,318 horsepower and 1,014 pound-feet of torque and a quarter mile speed of 166 mph.
