Ask any rationale warm-blooded man out there and they’ll tell you that the only thing that can equal a beautiful car is a beautiful girl – or vice versa.

So when you hear about news that Porsche->ke1 and the Model Lounge teamed up during the New York Fashion Week to assist models around the city amid the hectic schedules they have, you’re probably thinking the same thing we are: “why can’t we be the ones driving those Porsches?”

Unfortunately, that part isn’t up for discussion. What is, though, is this video, which chronicles the partnership struck between Porsche and the Model Lounge wherein the automaker provided a fleet of Panameras->ke1840 and Cayennes->ke5 at the models' disposal, getting them to and from a number of locations within the city.

If you’re thinking that being a model is as easy as pouting while walking the catwalk, try living in their shoes – or in this case, three-inch high stilettos – for one day. Sure, it has its perks, but it’s also not as easy as it looks.

Fortunately for these gorgeous women, Porsche was there to lend a helping hand, or should we say, a helping number of Cayennes and Panameras.

Press Release after the jump.

Press Release

Porsche Cars North America, Inc., is taking the stress out of Fashion Week with its own unique style statements - the 2011 Porsche Panamera and Porsche Cayenne. Beginning Sept. 9, Porsche chauffeurs are whisking busy models from the iconic white tents at Lincoln Center to the Smartwater Model Lounge at Gansevoort Park Avenue South. Along the way, models can strike a pose of utter relaxation in Porsche's spacious ‘sports car for four,' the Panamera -- or kick off their stilettos in the equally sporty 2011 Porsche Cayenne.

The stress-free experience continues inside the exclusive Smartwater Model Lounge, where the most recognizable faces in the business can get their runway groove back. Models representing the top ten modeling agencies in the world are invited to soak in the lounge's soothing vibe after wardrobe fittings or between runway shows. They can also enjoy the Gansevoort Park Avenue South's luxe amenities, including its rooftop swimming pool and gym. Leading up to Fashion Week, Porsche also provided transportation for models to and from the Union Square Lounge at The Coffee Shop.

With precision performance and classic Porsche sports car lines curved around a generous four-passenger interior, the Panamera turns heads wherever it travels, making it a perfect partner for Fashion Week's style icons. The Porsche Cayenne also sets its own style agenda, combining the sport of spirited driving with the utility of five passenger seating and loads of cargo capacity. Engineered to effortlessly carve through even the toughest Manhattan traffic, both Porsches will be in motion throughout the week.

While these Porsches are reserved for the women who work the runway during Fashion Week, you don't have to be a top model to enjoy Porsche style in New York. In August, Porsche announced its partnership with the Gansevoort Hotel Group. Through the partnership, Porsche offers the Gansevoort's guests complimentary in-town car service and VIP airport transportation in a 2011 Porsche Panamera 4S at both the Meatpacking District and Park Avenue South locations.
