It’s time for another round of which car is better and, this time, AutoCar has chosen to compare the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the 911 Carrera 4S. This test may not be quite as exciting as other face to faces and, quite frankly, it may seem like a very strange comparison considering one is an SUV and the other is a coupe, but begin two Porsches makes them worthy of a side by side. Honestly, we would rather just have them both; one for off-road drives and the other for the long summer rides.
The Cayenne Turbo is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 biturbo with an impressive 500 hp. On the other hand the 911 Carrera 4S is powered by a 3.8-liter power unit that delivers 385 hp. Taking their sizes into consideration this comparison is much like comparing David to Goliath!
We have to wonder why the British magazine chose to compare these two vehicles. These cars seem worlds apart except for the Porsche logo on the front of both. So, why did they put together this test? Check out the video to get your answer!
