Video: Romain Grosjean takes Megane RenaulSport out for a spin at Nurburgring

When Romain Grosjean replaced the departed Nelson Piquet Jr. in the cockpit of one of Renault ’s F1 cars, he probably didn’t imagine the perks that came along with it. One of the said perks is being able to test new Renault cars before they get sent out to dealerships.

Recently, the French driver took the all-new 2010 Megane RenaultSport 250 out for a run at the Nurburgring and much to our good fortune, the company took a video of it for us to scrutinize…I mean…enjoy.

Powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, the Megane RS can produce as much as 250 horsepower with its power being channeled through a six-speed manual tranny straight towards the front wheels.

There are a lot of things that we envy about F1 drivers. From the prestige to the ladies to driving unreleased cars, F1 drivers – whether you’re a contender or not – have it good.

The interior of the car is similar with the Honda Civic it looks so cheap. However, I think the engine performance of the car is not that impressive.

Wow! I love the operatic sound in the engine of the RenaulSport. I hope to read more information about this vehicle. I wasn’t impressed with the speed performance of the car.

Yeah! One of the most amazing car in the world of sportscar! Too bad that Romain Grosjean haven’t made a record. Well, its a privilege to drive in one of the famous track- the Nurburgring!

Just recently, Meganae Renaultsport have made an amazing record on Nurburgring track! They just made a little upgrade on the power of this car but the result was incredible awesome!

It so ashamed to put the Lada logo on Renault car. The video doesn’t even look right, Are they sure that F1 has the lesser series?

well that was fast, based on this video Megane is very easy and fun to drive, it handles well and it’s speed is just right for its structure, also the price is very reasonable so if you found out that this baby is expensive just watch this video and you’ll know why.
