Video: Spada Codatronca

Spada Vetture Sport, an Italian supercar maker, recently released a new promotional video about its latest creation, the Codatronca. Directed by Mr. Kobayashi, the video takes advantage of the Codatronca’s unique similarity with Batman’s favorite ride, the Batmobile. While it does bear a little of the qualities of the Batmobile, the Codatronca is a powerful machine in its own right, thanks in large part to a Z06 engine underneath its hood that’s capable of clocking a 0-100mph time of 3.4 seconds.

Shot in 2D and 3D modeling, Kobayashi created the commercial by infusing the two visual elements and creating an environment that emphasizes the Codatronca’s cutting-edge look and incredible driving qualities.
