Video: Steve Meade Designs has one crazy custom car audio system

At some point there should be a line that people should refrain from crossing, especially if it’s dangerous to their health, or in this case, their ear drums.

Apparently, Steve Meade Designs is a custom car audio shop that’s definitely not for the weak of heart. Unless you want to wear hearing aids for the rest of your life, then you probably should stay away from this audio madness.

The custom audio shop released a couple of videos featuring Steve Meade’s very own 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe , except that this is unlike any Tahoe you’ve ever seen before, thanks in large part to the four 18” subwoofers in the back and complemented by 13 amps, 10 6.5” mid speakers, and 10 1” tweeners.

All that bass in one trunk is tantamount to audio suicide, and as Meade demonstrates himself, even a thick phone book is no match.

Check out the videos and watch how those supposedly sturdy phonebooks were shredded into a million pieces in a matter of minutes. Yes, folks. Steve Meade’s audio system is definitely not for normal peeps like us.

Part 2 after the jump.

haha. I thought it was a shredding machine that has a built-in speaker! And I have to agree that Steve Meade’s audio system really is not a norm!

Oh yeah! With the super sonic sounds of his audio system I thing you’re right mbclk65amg! With the level of its bass no wonder why those phone book where distorted like that.

Well, this one is certainly a heck of a sound system for parties. But you probably won’t be able to use it while on the drive. Just a few seconds of it and you will likely be pulled over by the cops

Sadly, you won’t get one of those, not unless you have at least fifty grand. That kind of sound system is certainly not going to be cheap, so you ought to have the dough ready.

Wow, me want one of those. Man imagine what the neighbors would do if you use one of these in your house all day. You’ll probably get an eviction notice in just a few days.

Yeah, you’re right. A thousand dollar paper shredder. But I think this would be a good piece of equipment if you are running those rave parties.

This could be an alternative for paper shredders, lol. I guess this one’s only good for show, I don’t wanna drive a car just to be deaf because of my great sound system.

They ought to sign a waiver whenever they use one of these. That one should state that they won’t be liable for folks who go deaf after hearing the sound of this one.

I would have my ear drums removed and then still be able to hear it!

Wow! I really love the beating sound of this audio system. This is definitely the best thing to have and keep you entertain while driving for a long hours!

Yeah, that’s definitely one crazy audio setup. And I am still scratching my head as to the reason why they are creating such beasts.

Oh yeah! One of the must have for every driver that wanted to sing-along with their radio! The specification of this audio system is kind of great!

Man, that’s one heck of a crazy audio system. You will definitely be the life of the party if you have one of these. That is, of course, if your guests don’t end up being deaf after the first few tracks.
