Video: Teaser of Tanner Foust’s Mulholland Street Drift Series

  news

Tanner Foust is no stranger to posting drift videos at the Internet. Actually, he does them just about all the time. So it didn’t come as a surprise to any of us that Mr. Foust himself is starting a new drift series sometime in March.

Driving his trusty rear-drive V8-powered Scion tC, Foust’s first teaser video of his new Street Drift Series sees him making a smoking drift – and in slow mo, no less – across out computer screens with the words ‘Street Drift: Mulholland’ bonking up the entire screen shortly thereafter.

We’ve seen a lot of Tanner Foust’s drift videos over the years but we still can’t help but get all geeked up for his new drift series. Maybe – and we’re keeping our fingers crossed – we can see more of those slow-mo drifts in the future with lots and lots of smoke.

This would be at least a little interesting if the Scion could actually come close to this in its stock form. However, this is not the case.

Ken’s video was impressive because after hundreds of takes we see the most "pretty" shots. This video is impressive because you see how much talent this man has on one take on a treacherous mountain road with sheer cliffs around every turn.

I just love this car, it has everything one wants, looks, practicality, price, speed, MPGs. Subaru is a real winner, i hope they will expend in USA.

Now that is one cool drift, although the view of the mountain seems dangerous. He could fall off that place even if there is a guard rail if he lost control. He should have done it in a more controlled environment such as a race circuit. Its a lot safer even if he is a professional.

This is a section of Mulholland Highway called "the Snake" near Malibu and the road is in great shape.

This should be very, very interesting. Anyone who lives around here (LA/West Hollywood/Hollywood), who occasionally blasts Mulholland, knows that the road is a narrow, rutted, potholed, gravel-ridden mess!

There are some great curves, and the detritus makes it an enjoyable challenge, but restraint is a must.

The road’s in crap condition!

well this is worth to watch, I hope that Ken Block and Travis Pastrana Join here, I’d like seeing an EVO X join the street drift also.
