Video: The interior design process behind the Audi A1

Looks like the Audi A1 promo video series isn’t done yet.

We’ve seen pretty much everything there is to see about the Audi’s new premium hatchback – even a test drive featuring two football players from FC Bayern Munich – it feels we already know more about it than the actual cars we have on our garages.

And just when we thought everything came to a head after the test drive,
Audi has released another instalment of the A1 promo videos. This time, our lecturer is Ivo van Hulten, the chief interior designer for the A1, who goes into great detail regarding the design process behind the A1’s air vents found in the car’s cockpit.

This much we know: there’s absolutely no denying that the A1 is poised to become a hot item as soon as it hits dealerships. Despite being a little too bland for our liking, these promo videos have done a pretty good job in terms of educating the people on what the A1 is all about. Whether or not that translates to good sales when the premium hatchback comes out is an entirely different story.

lovely and impressive design by audi’s designer. KUDOS to you guys

What is up with all the manufacturers this days. I mean almost all of them are producing hatchbacks. Anyways, the process of designing it and taking pictures for it is not that easy as the video shows. The guy makes what he does a very easy thing to do.

that was an interesting movie from the audi’s interior designer, well surely car enthusiast will had a hard time owning this baby.
