Porsche is currently testing the upcoming 918 Spyder at the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain and the folks over Top Exotics were lucky enough to be in the area. Top Exotics caught not just one 918 Spyder, but a trio of the supercars on their way back to the hotel after a long day at the high-speed track. The video shows the hybrid car both in race and electric mode, and some interior shots. The 918 Spyder will go on sale in the fall of 2013 with a starting price of $845,000. The supercar will combine a 4.6-liter V-8 engine with a pair of electric motors – one powering the front axle and one on the rear. This hybrid system will deliver a total of 795 horsepower and, according to Porsche, will hit a top speed of 202 mph. Enjoy the sneak peak! .

fair enough john, but those cars are far more expensive than this one, and this one is not cheap either! and around a track, the 918 can stay close to the cars you have mentioned.
i love the fact that, while on the electric motors, this car is more silent than the computer i’m reading this article on!
