Video: Top Gear "My Little Pony" Edition is a cute ball of laughs

Has Top Gear gone soft? Or is this just a cute and funny way to poke some fun at the popular TV show? For fans of the candid and quick-witted show, you’ll be happy to know that it’s the latter.

Somebody who apparently had far too much free time on his hands decided to create his own version of Top Gear, starring the characters of ’My Little Pony’.

Yep. My Little Pony.

Using clever editing and split-second audio syncing, the guy who created this video was able to build a three-minute episode of the show, complete with the opening credits, a Stig lap time, and a Star In A Reasonably Priced Car. Heck, he even managed to come up with cutesy names for the four protagonists of the show: Rarity Clarkson, Fluttershy Hammond, Pinkie Pie May, and Stiglight Sparkle.

We’ll admit, it’s an entertaining, albeit mildly confusing take on Top Gear. But for sheer ’awwwwsss’ and laughs alone, it’s well worth watching, especially if you can picture Clarkson as a unicorn.
