Video: Travis Pastrana shows off rallying skills at the 2010 Sno*Drift Rally

When Travis Pastrana wants to get serious, he’s one of the most exciting and thrilling drivers in the world today. While he enjoys doing his fair share of insane stunts and fancy gimmicks, when it’s time to buckle up, he has no problem getting his hands dirty.

In this video, we catch Travis Pastrana at his competitive best, taking his Rally America Subaru WRX STI to a first-place finish at the 2010 Sno*Drift Rally back in late January. Together with his right-hand man, Christian Edstrom, Pastrana laid waste to the competition amidst freezing temperatures on the outskirts of Montmorencey, Michigan.

Some people might know Pastrana for his death-defying world record attempts, but for those who know his competitive side, this video is him at his best.

Nobody cares those championships which you mentioned. Formula 1, WRC and WTCC rule in the real life which are European based organizations.

Some guy back flips a tricycle in a ramp...and this is news?! Come on WCF! I think you’re having too much time in your hands...

I’m in Chicago, we just got 6 inches of snow, and everybody with a Vette was staying home. I, on the other hand, was able to drive my STi with snow tires anywhere I wanted. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had driving in a snowstorm.

I own a Auto Consulting business called American Auto Consultants and I was wondering if anyone would know how to get a hold of Travis Pastrana? Any help would be great.

Awesome! Hopefully he won’t get so many concussions rallying. Then again, it is rally, and it is Travis Pastrana.

Well I must admit that it was not impressive with the driving skills of Pastrana, I like ken better.

Do you guys remember the jump that he made with his rally car? The one that he flipped during practice-that was so cool. Well this is a pretty interesting video as well, I mean, did he spin the car on the first turn? Well, not spin but turned it just a little too late. Well, in races like this one, Travis Pastrana isn’t the only one responsible for such performance, the team and crew are included and of course, the one sitting besides him, the navigator.

On the first curve travis had a little slip over the edge but after that he drives and performs well and i must say that the subaru is way better than the fiesta.
