The Texas Mile event last March produced some pretty scorching times from a number of souped-up supercars, but nobody had a better weekend than Underground Racing’s Twin-Turbo Gallardo Superleggera, which blistered the tarmac at a staggering top speed of 250.1 mph - that’s 402.49 kmh if you’re keeping count. It took three tries for Richard Holt, who was sitting behind the wheel of the Superleggera, to top 250. In the end, the third time proved to be a charm. Check out the video and watch it for yourself. .

I’m getting tried of super cars, they’re for the ultra-ridiculously rich, or slapped around by auto journalists that think they’re special. Other than that, these super cars are useless expensive machines that are beautiful works of art nothing more, nothing real for any real consumer, because lets face it, who here can REALLY afford any of these super-cars? .25%? What a wasted effort.
Can I get the next round? I’d prefer the Porsche, but if they just happened to let me drive the Gallardo, I don’t think I could say no.
have been a Cayenne hater for years, but the fact that it can perform on the track, then drive OFF ROAD is pretty sick... Talk about the ultimate get-away vehicle!!
250MPH only? so it means the ford is more faster than this? ford GT has a top speed of 266MPH max speed.
What else do we expect, its a Twin-Turbo Gallardo Superleggera? That car is a monster and the speed will only depends on its driver.
Pretty impressive speed but still it still won’t reach the speed made by the brabus TKR. A record breaking 270MPH.
