Video: Universal releases latest 'Fast Five' movie trailer

The latest and probably last installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise is scheduled to hit theaters on April 29, 2011,. Called ‘Fast Five,’ the movie features all the usual digs that have come to define the four previous versions: fast cars, hot chicks, and tons of action.

In the latest version, we get more of the same, only this time, a lot of the past characters return to help the fugitive duo of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker on another one of their heists. This time around, they’re being chased around by no less than Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson.

Not much is in the way of the storyline, which really isn’t what this franchise is all about. It’s all about those high-octane, custom-tailored machines. And if you pay close attention to the latest trailer, you might catch a glimpse of some new cars making their cinematic debut in Fast Five, one of which looks to be a smokin’ hot, matte black Lexus LF-A .

Smoke your tires and rev your engines, fellas! Fast Five is coming on April 29, 2011!

Sorry guys, but for me Paul Walker is kind of boring in this film. I think the character of Vin Diesel really stands out.

@Spencer ,FYI Tokyo Drift is the third series. However, I do agree that this movie would be as exciting as Tokyo drift.

Yeah, I agree! I have to say that i was a little bore on the second and third series of ’Fast and the Furious’ less thrilling since Vin Diesel is not around! I hope this would be very much exciting just like in Tokyo Drift seriessmiley

I’m sure that this movie would be more exciting since Vin Diesel is back! IMO, i think he makes the scene very thrilling compare to what the main character didsmiley

For sure this would be exciting. I think there’s a lot of reason to be excited on the debut aside from the banging cars, explosion and hot babessmiley

Oh yeah! Its coming and I can’t wait for the cinematic debut! The past characters will come together in this film! This would be exciting.

For those car chases alone, I am definitely looking forward to the movie. And hopefully, they have more in stored for us in the actual movie.

I am really a big fan of the movie series, having watched the first movies several ties now. And I am still stunned by the car chase scenes.

You’ll see LF-A ant 1:49. I cant wait to see that movie.

Well, that’s definitely one heck of a car chase. You’re right, the Fast and the Furiou series Is really more about these great chases and races. But I do wonder how they will do the story this time.
