Volkswagen Golf VII - count down already begins!

Is true the sixth generation Golf has just been officially revealed in Paris, but it seems Volkswagen has already looking at a younger model. The Golf VI is just meant as to fill the gap for when the Golf VII arrives in three years. This is not a big surprise considering the car is more of a facelift than a new generation.

The next generation Golf will be built on a totally new platform known as the MQB (Modular Querbaukaste) platform. This platform can accommodate engines from different architecture, including the hybrid one derived from the Twin Drive.
