Volkswagen Polo sold out for 2006

The Volkswagen Polo is sold out for 2006. A Volkswagen spokeman said that: "depending upon equipment a Polo can be supplied only again in January or February".

The automaker said that the high demand was in particular for the special model "Goal". According to data of the motor vehicle federal office the Polo was in the first nine months with 56.000 sold new vehicles and a market share of 12,7% after Ford Fiesta’s (10,1) and the Opel Corsa (9,7) the usually-sold small car of Germany.
