Press release For the first time, HEICO SPORTIV will be exhibiting at the Geneva Motor Show in cooperation with Volvo Automobile (Schweiz) AG, where it will be presenting the new edition of the Volvo C70. Uncompromising in functionality and designA credo with which HEICO SPORTIV has dedicated itself to the Volvo C70. The front spoiler forged in flexible, lightweight polyurethane plastic (PUR) dissolves into the profile like an OEM element, providing for the distinctively sporty but unobtrusive look. Unmistakable, evocative forms take up again at the rear, where the diffuser and stainless steel exhaust system with four round chrome plated end pipes form a single, harmonious unit. Sound included! For those with an attentiveness to craftsmanship and timeless designHEICO SPORTIV also sets new highlights when it comes to the interior fittings of the Volvo C70. With perfect craftsmanship, finest quality leather was set and worked with a sure taste for style on the dashboard, door trims and cover profile of the metal convertible roof. “Our goal was to retain the Volvo C70’s traditional character, while further enhancing its emotional potential,” explains Holger Hedtke. Design cooperation with THONET, the world’s oldest globally celebrated furniture brandOne exclusive highlight is a filigree wooden gear shift lever – the pioneering result of a new joint venture with THONET. Through its weightlessness, the rolling, classy walnut sculpture emphasizes the use of form of the freely floating central console. The limited-edition wooden gearshift lever is hand made in an elaborate, multistage process. 3 comments: Volvo C70 by Heico Sportiv Nice to see the tuners paying attention to worthy cars which are (sort of) from the continent. I am personally very surprised at how little press Volvo seems to get; as all-around satisfying cars (styling, power, handling, luxury) they deserve more attention than they get. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that C30 to come to the US.
Now there goes something to look forward to at the Geneva Motor Show. I’m pretty sure that this will be one of the eye candy for the convertible enthusiasts. I’m not really that much into top downs as I don’t like the leg room and luggage space issues with it.
