Volvo found guilty in fatal accident

Volvo is a brand well known all over the world for their models considered to be the safest in the auto industry. But, sometimes, even the best things have a leak. The Swedish brand was found guilty in an accident where two people died. Volvo were find guilty by the jury and need to pay 200.000 euro.

The accident happened in 1999. Back then, the driver of a Volvo 850 Station Wagon lost control of his car and came into a group of three children. Driver said that the breaks didn’t worked as they were supposed to when the accident happened.

After investigation, specialists came to the conclusion that the only one to blame in this case is Volvo who did not use standard breaks into the 850.

Volvo plead guilty and agreed to pay the ticket.
