VW Golf GTI VI at the 2009 South Florida International Auto Show

While European drivers have been scooting around in the latest generation Volkswagen Golf GTI for a while, we here in the U.S. will have to wait until next year to drive the sleeker sixth generation hot hatch with its slick 17 inch rims and swept back headlamps. The 2010 VW GTI is powered by a 2.0 Liter 16 Valve DOHC TSI gas sipping four banger that makes an even 200 HP and 207 lb-ft of torque that is shifted with a six speed manual transmission. The GTI offers the traditional Rabbit like handling and can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 6.8 seconds and reach an electronically limited 130 MPH top speed all for under $24,000.

Well for a price like that, I don’t think that market will snob that car and also it’s a fab car and for all I know about that is the sales of VW Golf is stable on the market. Also the performance of this car improve a lot so if you’re looking for a comfortable car, you may consider having this Golf GTI VI.
