VW Tiguan by B&B

B&B does not stop with the motor. The Tiguan also receives an extensive 14 piece aero kit from aftermarket manufacturers Caractere. The kit does a great job of making the compact SUV appear to be more aggressive and athletic. The vehicle was lowered by 40 mm, not only improving handling but also improve the appearance bringing the 20 inch rims that much closer to the body. Another item that adds to both the performance and style to the vehicle is the B&B sport exhaust.

Engine Tuning

1.4 L TSI Program

The initial stage of tuning for the 1.4 liter TSI engine bumps output up from 150 HP to 190 HP and increases torque from 177 lb-ft up to and impressive 207 lb-ft for 990 Euros.

For an additional 500 Euros B&B installs a modified injection system and a tuned intake that increases power up to 200 HP and 221 lb-ft of torque.

If you wish to push the 1.4 liter engine to the limit, the German tuners a new turbocharger and intercooler that will produce 220 HP and 236 lb-ft of torque for only 5,998 Euros more.

2.0 L TFSI program

For enthusiasts who have a 2.0 liter TFSI epuipped Tiguan, the stage one tune raises output to 220 HP and 250 lb-ft of torque and the second stage raises both horse power and torque by about 20 units.

The third stage, and most powerful of the B&B tuned Tiguans, includes an upgraded turbocharger and intercooler that produce a maximum output of 300 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque from the 2.0 liter power plant.

2.0 L TDI program

Don’t fret if you don’t have a gas burning Tiguan because B&B are tuning the diesel mills as well. The Germans have been able to squeeze 220 HP and a whopping 310 lb-ft of torque from the 2.0 liter ticker.
