Woodward Dream Cruise 2011 ready to hit the road

Anybody that has ever had an appreciation of classic cars knows that the annual Woodward Dream Cruise is one of the can’t-miss events of the calendar year.

Held annually at Michigan’s legendary Woodward Avenue, the world’s largest classic car cruise is shaping up to have another memorable 2011 staging, complete with over 30,000 classic vehicles and an attendance that’s expected to reach well over 1.5 million people.

This year, the Chevrolet -sponsored event will be held on August 20th when you’ll see some of your favorite cars in history. An event like this brings out all types of cars from different generations. You name it, it’s there: from hot rods, classic cars, muscle cars, rat rods, art cars, TV cars, and everything else in between. In fact, at least one of every type of Mustang model made since the car debuted in April 1964 will be in attendance, as well as the Shelby GT500 , both street and racing versions of the Boss 302 , and the Mustang GT and V6 Coupe with performance package. Getting back to the main sponsor, Chevrolet, the Detroit-based company is bringing many cars from their past, present, and future, including the Cruze , Camaro , Corvette , Volt , Sonic , and ZL1 Camaro .

If you happen to be in the area this weekend, you’ll get a first-hand look at some of those classic rides that you’ll have the chance to check off of your bucket list. But if you’re not within the vicinity, you can still keep up-to-date with the latest happenings courtesy of the event’s official radio station, 104.3 WOMC. I want to go to the largest classic car cruise event. I love vintage cars! It’s really amazing how they restore the different car types from the past to future generation.

Woodward is really something to look for! One of the few classic car that really stays up in the road. I love its color and its exterior design.

Defenitely. Out with the old, in with the older. Haha. Woodward Dream Cruise 2011 will not just hit the road but will somehow rule the road. Look at its designs, look at its finale. It is astonishing and remarkable a cool carbon copy on a classic car.

It may look old on its platform and other detailing, but I must say that I am still impressed with the massive appearance of this one, and I would still have preferred to have this. smiley

Vintage cars are the cars best to upgrade. You will have lots of options and can put personal touch details while still have the authentic appearance are still there. Impressive one.

Can’t argue with that! Old style keeps on hitting the market, the more it gets old, the more expensive to reinvent and sell worldwide.

I am impressed the style and the design of this car. I love old cars and all vintage cars.

So, upgraded and restored vintage cars will be seen on that show.. Hope to see that vintage cars show.. I would love to see how the cars way back several years looks like.. Maybe I would understand why vintage cars become expensive as years passed by..

Woodward Dream Cruise have gathered the most impressive muscle car in the world of automobile! I’m really impressed with the speed performance of this car.

I was impressed with the look of the car. The vintage styling is quite classy. I wonder on how this vehicle will perform in the track?

Woodward Dream Cruise is celebrated annually, and I think this will be the most memorable. Chevrolet, as the main sponsor of the event, will show all their classic cars. Too bad I will not be in the area. I can’t witness this celebration.
