At the end of 2010, Carlsson revealed an impressive tuning package for the new generation Mercedes CLS-Class. Now the tuner has moved on to the most powerful model in the CLS lineup: the CLS 63 AMG. For the CLS 63 AMG package, the 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine has been updated to deliver an impressive 600 HP, up from the standard 518 HP and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. Next to this, the tuner is offering a nifty aerodynamic package that includes a new front spoiler, an RS front spoiler lip (available in real carbon), a new rear spoiler, a rear apron, and a built-in diffuser which functions as a tailplane and ensures extra downforce and more stable road holding at high speeds. Exterior and Interior For the exterior package, Carlsson has added a new front spoiler, an RS front spoiler lip (available in real carbon), a new rear spoiler, a rear apron, and a built-in diffuser which functions as a tailplane and ensures extra downforce and more stable road holding at high speeds. The car sits on new 20" wheels in a five double spoke design. For the interior, the tuner is offering the highest level of materials. The seats and the doors panels have been covered in Carlsson Nappa with contrasting Carlsson stitching. The Nappa leather will contrast with the Alcantara sports steering wheel, while the pedals and foot rest will both be made of brushed aluminum. Other additions to the interior are the velour foot mats featuring the Carlsson logo and the matching boot mat. Engine For the engine upgrade, Carlsson has opted for an engine optimization and a technically sophisticated performance kit that increases the V8’s output to 600 HP. The performance kit also includes a stainless steel rear silencer and two oval tailpipes for better sound. The same performance kit can also be applied to smaller engines in the line-up. For the CLS 350 CDI, for instance, the 265 HP output can be increased to an impressive 320 hp HP and the peak torque has been increased from 650 to 780 NM. Prices Carlsson’s new package will be available starting this April. Prices will be announced at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. CompetitionCarlsson may be offering a sick tuning package for the CLS 63 AMG - after all it’s not every day you have the chance to see a sports dean with this much power -, but unfortunately for them, Brabus managed much more than this. 5 comments: Mercedes CLS 63 AMG by Carlsson I’ve seen a Mercedes car these past few days, and I got angry with the driver because he is a very slow driver. I didn’t even take a chance to overtake with his car because he is zigzagging on the road. Wew!
 A rather simplistic take on the CLS 63 AMG. But then again that is what makes this car look rather gorgeous. Besides, the spiffy interior and powerful engine more than make up for that.
 haha. carlsson horse looks like a Ferrari but the " " version when it pranced around  but nice car though even if I’m wondering where is the wider
fenders, or even the rising spoiler?
 that ! no matter how beautiful or wonderful is the interior and exterior of the car I think it’s better if we look into the engine. I think the competitors engine is quite better compare from CLS.
