The fastest man in the world deserves nothing less than the fastest car in the world. Well, not really. But a Nissan GT-R , and a gold one at that?

Pretty impressive, to say the least.

The one-off "Bolt Gold" GT-R , which we first saw last year, was actually auctioned off to a lucky winner. So this isn’t the same gold-bathed GT-R that we saw then.

Now, the second model is based on the 2014 model, and is customized to suit Bolt’s driving style. As far as the special customization work is concerned, this GT-R boasts of the same "Bolt Gold" exterior color of the auctioned car while also getting an exclusive "Spec Bolt" emblem, a saucy white interior, a Bose audio system, and a set of 10-spoke hyper-titanium color-coated RAYS aluminum-alloy forged wheels.

Under its hood, Bolt’s Gold GT-R come powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine that delivers a total of 545 horsepower and 463 pound-feet of torque with an estimated 0-to-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph.

Bullrun 2013 is getting closer and today it’s time to see a first trailer that will offer us a glimpse of the great things set to start on June 1st, 2013. Of course, the video does not reveal too much, but the organizers have promised that "this year’s 10th Anniversary rally will be one for the history books."

The 2013 Bullrun will run down America’s East Coast from Canada’s historic city of Montreal all the way to New Orleans. The event will begin on May 31st with a spectacular launch party and will followed the next morning (exact start time TBA) with another memorable start line location - a location that is very secretive. Though we know that it will start in Montreal and end in New Orleans, the destinations in-between remain a tightly guarded secret.

The rally takes place from June 1st through June 7th and has been promised to be the most glamorous rally of 2013!

Daniel Craig, aka Agent 007, celebrated his 45th birthday with a car worthy of his name: an Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster . Daniel Craig paid an impressive sum of £150,000 (around $226,000 at the current exchange rates) for his sports car, but unfortunately it does not come with an ejector seat or hidden weapons.

The famous actor went to London to take delivery of his car and he dressed inconspicuously in an attempt to zip around London without anyone recognizing him. We are not very sure if he was successful in his attempt, but for sure he was very pleased with his new toy.

And why wouldn’t he? The V12 Vantage Roadster is powered by a 6-liter V-12 engine that delivers an amazing 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, sprinting the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds and up to a top speed of 190 mph.

It was fun, Acrua NSX , but ultimately, Tony Stark is returning to his old love.

With Stark set to return to the big screen this coming May for Iron Man 3, the eccentric billionaire playboy will once again sit behind the wheels of his old flame, the Audi R8 . The German supercar has been on the side of Stark since the first Ironman movie, but was left in the garage in favor of the NSX when Stark and his superhero buddies teamed up in the Avengers.

But now that it’s back to Iron Man, the R8, or specifically, the battery-powered R8 e-tron , is back in the loving arms of Tony Stark. You can see some production photos of Iron Man 3 that was released by Audi and clearly see Robert Downey Jr. behind the wheel of the German exotic.

Just like his high-powered suits, the Audi R8, in whatever variant it is, just suits Tony Stark to a tee.

A tragic incident happened yesterday at the Las Vegas Strip when a gunmen started to fire from a Range Rover into a Maserati and caused a terrific crash. The driver of the Maserati was shot, lost control of his car and smashed into a taxi. The taxi exploded into flames, killing the driver and a passenger.

The gunfire and the collision caused another four vehicles to crash and at least four people were injured, including the passenger in the Maserati. The police offered no details on the people hurt in the incident, but they identified the driver of the Maserati as aspiring rapper Kenneth Cherry Jr. — known to the hip-hop world as Kenny Clutch. In his YouTube video he appears rapping from a silver Maserati while cruising the Las Vegas Strip.

According to sources close to the situation, Cherry was killed in the crash, but the police still have not confirmed his death.

One of the witnesses of the incident said after the crash: "There was a loud bang and I hear two other booms. I looked out my window at Caesars Palace ... and could see the fireball."

The incident happened in the same zone where Tupac Shakur was shot on September 7, 1996, while riding in a BMW with Death Row Records co-founder Marion "Suge" Knight.

Part of what makes the “Die Hard” franchise so enduring is the way Bruce Willis somehow manages to skirt death in the nuttiest ways possible. We can’t tell you how many times this dude should’ve died in any of the first four movies, but somehow, he always lives to see another day.

For the fifth movie of the franchise, called "A Good Day to Die Hard", director John Moore decided to put his Michael Bay hat to good use by destroying a staggering total of cars. "There were 132 (cars) that could never be used again," he told USA Today.

"Another 518 required a lot of work. And damn right there were some good cars there. ... That’s the fun of it."

Moore goes on to say that all 132 destroyed cars - one of which was a Lamborghini - were used in just one scene, a mind-blowing sequence that ended up costing production $11 million. Incredibly, that $11 million doesn’t even include the slew of Mercedes G-Class SUVs that were donated to the film by the German automaker. And yes, those vehicles were wrecked too, as you can see in the video above.

But that’s not even the most unbelievable part because somehow, someway, John McClane lived through all that carnage, too.

We’re still waiting for the movie where McClane finally lives up to the franchise’s title and ’die hard’.

Racing Queen and GoDaddy spokeswoman, Danica Patrick, recently announced that she was divorcing her husband of seven years because their marriage was ’’irretrievably broken,” then it slowly emerged that she was dating fellow driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Patrick finally chose to disclose the details of the relationship to the press, so that the couple could “be open about their relationship.” In the process, she officially broke the hearts of many of her male fans – our words, not hers.

Now that the relationship is open we will focus on one weird aspect in this budding relationship. Both Danica and her 25-year-old boyfriend are rookies in this year’s Sprint Cup Championship. This means that they will not only race against one another, but they will also be competing for the Sprint Cup “Rookie of the Year” award.

We can’t help but wonder if this competition may spill over into their personal lives, especially if one should put the other into the wall at some point or walk away with a low-margin victory in the running for said award.

Either way, Stenhouse is a lucky man, and we’ll be here to catch the wonderful Danica should things fall apart.

McLaren F1

There are a handful of cars that cost over $1 million. However, for repairs for a car to hit seven figures, well, that’s unheard of…

Not anymore, apparently.

Rowan Atkinson’s McLaren F1 , which was destroyed during an accident that occurred back in August 2011, is now up and running again. Now, repairing a totally mangled supercar of the stature of the McLaren F1 takes a pretty long time, as McLaren engineers will attest after spending more than a year restoring the car to run again. With that much time spent on just putting the car back together, costs for the repair eventually ran up to the tune of £910,000 ($1.44 million).

That figure is even more remarkable considering that it’s three times as expensive as any other repair claim that has been documented in the UK. Just a hunch: Mr. Atkinson’s insurance company will no doubt raise his insurance rates after this deal – whether they paid for it or not.

Granted, it’s a McLaren F1. But still, $1 million for repairing a car is just absurd.

During this weekend, Chris Brown was involved in a pretty serious incident. According to the first statement he offered to the police, he was on his way to a charity event when he was cut off by two paparazzi cars. The men from the two cars jumped of the cars with cameras in their hands and approached Brown’s car in "an aggressive way."

Trying to escape from this situation, Brown backed down an alley, and because two additional paparazzi cars cut him off, he lost control of his car and crashed into a wall. According to police reports the incident occurred in the 600 Block Bedford Drive/Camden Drive alley at about 12:30 p.m.

Luckily for Brown, he was not hurt in the incident, but we cannot say the same about his car - a Porsche Turbo S - which he requested to be towed from the scene.

We don’t know what you think, but we see a big lawsuit against those paparazzi, and for sure they will need to pay more than the car’s repair.

When Universal showed the first trailer of Fast & Furious 6 during the Super Bowl, we noticed that there was a Ferrari FXX in one of the scenes. A closer look, by way of the amazing technology known as "pause," and we noticed that it wasn’t exactly an actual FXX, but a replica of said exotic.

How could this be possible? Well, a few styling cues from the car seems to suggest as such. The most obvious are the headlights, which actually don’t belong in a real FXX, but in Ferrari’s other limited edition supercar, the Enzo.

Also, check out the vents of the car in a photo uploaded by Ludacris in his Instagram account (by the way, we went back to his account and it appears that the photo has since been taken down). We bring this up because we don’t see the vents and the rivets on the car’s fenders. Speaking of rivets, the one on Ludacris’ photo has them just north of the Enzo-like headlights, which a real FXX shouldn’t have in the first place.

And finally, do you see the vents on the side of the replica FXX? By our account, the real FXX doesn’t have that many of ’em.
