2007 Chevrolet Corvette C2 by Atlantic Racing

The Chevrolet Corvette C2 sports car raced its way into our hearts back in 1963 and continued to do so until its demise in 1967. Known as the Sting Ray, the C2 was an amazing piece of machinery for its output of 560 HP (for the C2 427 version) which was considered phenomenal during that time. Remember, in those days, Ferrari models couldn’t even come close to the 500 HP mark. Now, bringing that speedster back into our lives is Atlantic Racing, who were made famous by their Le Mans Classic cars.

Atlantic Racing took the L88 engine in the C2 427 and jumpstarted its horsepower from 560 to 650. Next to modifying the 7-liter V8 engine, the tuner also decreased the car’s weight down to 1240 kilos and added a Rochester T10 transmission with strengthened clutch.

The Corvette C2 427 by Atlantic Racing was developed specially for the track and has already won the 2007 European Championship GT1 for history models.
