2010 - 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible 'HPE650' by Hennessey

If you have a Chevrolet Camaro in your garage and you’re thinking of having some fine tuning work done on it, you won’t find a better company to give you what you want more than Hennessey Performance . The US-based aftermarket company, after all, has been responsible for plenty of tuned-up Camaros, some being more powerful than others. But rest assured, these guys don’t pull any punches with their projects, often trying to conjure up ways to make the next program bigger, better, and faster than the last one.

Their newest and baddest tuning kit comes strapped onto the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible and distinguishes itself from the rest by getting a turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 engine to crank out an output of 655 horsepower at 6,300 rpm. This power increase comes hand in hand with upgrades such as a new air induction system, high-flow catalytic converters, and a high-flow fuel injector upgrade, among other things.

Hennessey Performance has certainly earned the distinction of being called one of the best in the business. And like we said, when you’re in the market for a Camaro tuning program, these guys will answer all your needs faster than you can say "vroom-vroom!" And that’s saying something considering that this Chevrolet muscle car is one of the most popular vehicles with tuning firms.

Much like most of Hennessey’s projects on the Camaro, the American tuning firm left a lot of it as it was, albeit with a few exceptions. You see, the car may look like a regular Camaro at first glance, but the HPE650 program also features a host of styling improvements, including a special exterior stripe pack, a number of HPE650 exterior badging, serial-numbered dash & engine plaques, an HPE modified engine cover, custom premium leather upholstery, Hennessey premium floormats, Hennessey embroidered headrests, a Hennessey aero kit, a full coilover suspension kit, and a set of new HPE premium lightweight alloy wheels.

Being that the new Camaro Convertible kit is called the ’HPE650’, one may venture a guess that it gets up to 650 HP. How it gets there is the real question. There’s also a new air induction system, high-flow cylinder heads, stainless steel long tube headers, high-flow catalytic converters, as well as a high-flow fuel injector upgrade and, last but not least, a little re-tweaking of the car’s ECU.

The end result of all the upgrades is a car whose 6.2-liter V8 engine can crank out an output of 655 horsepower, @ 6,300 rpm. which is a shot up from the standard 426 ponies.

I was impressed with its 655 hp output. It seems that Hennessey made an awesome upgrade with the high-performance system installed in the car.

This Camaro vehicle truly looks so attractive on its aesthetic design, and it looks very masculine on its platform, which is noticeable on it. Moreover, I’m glad that it has an impressive engine either.

No, it’s not the official bumblebee; it is only similar on it. Anyway, I’m also impressed on the appearance of this Camaro even on its V8 engine, which has an awesome output of 655 horsepower@6,300 RPM.

I really love the looks of this Camaro, so simple but very aggressive! And if I’m not mistaken this is ’bumblebee’ that they were saying, well, I can’t blame them why they are so fond with this.

Nice, it look so new and very high-end, technology now can change everything can make every car the best in its potential and give another more years for best result. very nice program.

Well, I really like the exterior design of this car, especially its yellow color and the interior performance is really awesome. This is a beast output of a muscle car. Good luck for this Camaro.

We all know that Hennessey is indeed known in the field of tuning cars especially sports and muscle cars. But on this one, they reveal the true muscular outfit of a Camaro. Nice job.

The modified aerodynamic kit in the car is quite impressive, it really enhances the subtle details of the car. Aside from the modified styling the engine upgrade offered is good as well. I want to test drive this muscle car.

Wow! I wonder what does the Ford Mustang have to say with the awesomeness of the newer version of Camaro. For the engine technology, I was impressed with its 655 hp output. It seems that Hennessey made an awesome upgrade with the high performance system installed in the car.
