2010 Chevrolet Corvette C6.R.

Corvette Racing is under intense preparation for the season-opening round of the 2010 American Le Mans Series, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, to be held in Sebring, Fla., on March 20. They will have to compete against entries representing Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Jaguar, and Ford.

Their car, the Corvette C6.R. GT2 is based on the road-going version Corvette ZR1, but featuring an aluminum frame, steel brakes and a downsized 5.5-liter V8 engine. The latest C6.R models were using either a 7.0 liter or a 6.0 liter V8. It is also rumored that the 5.5 liter V8 engine will be used in a production version Corvette in the near future.

Corvette Racing drivers Johnny O’Connell, Jan Magnussen, and Antonio Garcia are testing the No. 3 Compuware Corvette C6.R. Oliver Gavin, Olivier Beretta, and Emmanuel Collard are testing the No. 4 Compuware Corvette C6.R.

Stay tuned!

Corvette is absolutely looks very cute and stunning on its platform and to its other detailing. smiley Well, I must say that the graphic design of this one is truly so striking and looking so awesome at it.

This Chevrolet Corvette C6.R. brings some excitement, I almost imagine the speed of this car will eat some dust on the track.

One of the amazing sports car model of Chevrolet. Did you know that the first model was designed by Harley Earl?

I hope that you include the important specs of this car. I want to know the speed of this one. I wonder what Ferrari car will join on the 2010 American Le Mans Series(of course I want to bet on the Ferrari car). Well really need to research for that but I will wait for other information on the upcoming race.

One thing I like about the upgrades and new versions from Corvette is that the cars keep getting better but my favorite sort of signature is still in the car like the simplest and most obvious, the tear drop rear window...

The Corvette C6.R is set to compete at the GT class, formerly known to our father and grandads as the GT2. In this class, the C6.R will compete against the racing cars from automakers Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Jaguar and fellow American, Ford.
