2012 Chevrolet Camaro by Paul Jr. Designs and Trans American Muscle

You folks remember Paul Teutal Jr., right? The man formerly associated with Orange County Choppers is a household name in the aftermarket scene, and while he’s now detached himself with the company he co-founded, Paul Jr. still knows what it to takes to build an awesome custom project.

So Paul Jr. opted to leave the choppers in the shed and took the challenge of customizing a Chevrolet Camaro. Together with the folks of Trans American Muscle, Paul Jr. Designs built a really ill program for the American muscle car.

The custom sheet metal paneling comes as no surprise given Paul Jr.’s background. The program also has a custom hot rod black paint in matte finish and copper with matching Paul Jr. Designs emblems on it. There are also custom door sills, copper numbering badges, aircraft rivets, and a new set of 22" Ritorno Forgiato Wheels.

Far be it for Paul Jr. to modify the Camaro’s exterior and interior, he certainly didn’t leave behind the muscle car’s engine credentials. The conversion kit comes with a whole lot of modifications, highlighted by a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger fitted to the muscle car’s LS3 V8, SLP sub-frame connectors and exhaust featuring an X-Pipe. No mention of how much increased output was done to the Camaro, but knowing Paul Jr. and Trans American Muscle’s reputations, we expect nothing less than a mouthful of added ponies.

The latter will build 77 of these bad boys, each coming with an aircraft-style and aerospace theme. But before it hits Domani Motor Cars as an exclusive model, this custom-tuned Camaro made an appearance at the 2012 Daytona Bike Week, which ran from October 9th - October 18th.

first I noticed how solid the car felt is. The sound system sounds wonderful for stock. I simple really enjoy driving it!

The car looks hot, sitting still. The features are to many to list, You must see this car and drive it to appreciate it.

I got a manual and its fun, more connected than an automatic. But someday i may get tired of shifting in traffic.

Back seats are comfortable for kids and they always want to ride in the Camaro.

Chevrolet no longer enjoy much attention. They say that cars are modest from all points of view.

chevrolet is far more than the few cars manufactured in Europe, after the acquisition by gmc daewoo.

we have a tuned up Bumblebee here! and boy does it kick ass!

although there are lots of aftermarket versions for a camaro, this is one of the best out there. and being only 77, it will be quite a rare one!

power corrupts. let’s hope this car still handles decent. but i am sure they took that aspect into consideration!

the camaro’s engine PLUS a 2.9 liter supercharger. is any one worrying there might not be enough power?

i love the care for detail and the fact that all elements merge quite well together, leading to one good looking thing. and that’s important!

paul jr. has some taste in modifying things. he sure chose his job well.

imagine you being on a pitch black back street and that thing coming out of the shadows. i, for one, would drop dead, because there’s no point in trying to outrun it!

love the metal paneling! it looks like one cool zombie apocalypse car. the one you`d use to flaunt in front of the brainless zombies and even they would be amazed.

he switched from choppers to an airplane! joking aside, this car is awesome. and the performance should lift up to the level of the styling.

Paul Teutal Jr. did a good gob styling that car. the black mate finish is nothing less than amazing.
