2012 Chevrolet Sonic Z-Spec Concept

Chevrolet first used the Z-Spec name at the 2010 SEMA Show where they revealed the Volt Z-Spec , the Spark Z-Spec , and the Cruze Z-Spec . Continuing their use of the name at the Detroit Auto Show comes the new Sonic Z-Spec Concept. Not many details have been revealed on the concept as of yet, but Chevrolet has confirmed that it showcases a family of factory-engineered accessories and the best of the aftermarket under a single design theme.

The concept’s exterior is distinguished by a massive rear-deck spoiler, an orange paint scheme, and eighteen-inch multi-spoke BBS wheels. The interior is also defined by the same orange color scheme, as well as new Recaro seats covered in tan leather. Other minor adjustments for the inside include a billet shift knob and flat-bottom steering wheel cap.

The powertrain for the concept is still being kept under wraps, but we expect it to carry the same 1.4L turbo engine with maybe some tweaks here and there. We do know that Chevrolet has added a new K&N filter and Borla exhaust to help bump up whatever output the concept is delivering.

I absolutely like its exterior design especially its color combination. It makes the Chevrolet attractive but I wanted to see the performance of this car. I will wait for the updates.

i think the color orange and black is kind of fad nowadays. If i could remember the Bugatti uses the same color for the EB. Well, the design of the car is kind of good but I’m looking forward to read more information on the specs and engine performance.

I like the combination of color black and orange color paint,.It looks unique of the color car especially the steering wheel that emphasizes the color design on it.

agree, plus the interior looks attractive, I like the Steering wheel creame and black colors are one hell of a combination, plus the Bucket seat is paired with black panels. this is one example that I can The best Ever.

now that’s more like it, I really like this concept car, it looks more aggressive than the veloster of Hyundai, i bet they’ve spend a lot of money here just to have its killer looks.

“The chevrolet is a combination of color orange of its interior design..Have its own style than the other automobile cars...This is a sign of uniqueness..looks nice..

i guess i have to agree on that, I like the black and orange paint too but the orange is more dominant than the black one. plus the seats of this baby is elegant and classy bucket style seats. 5 stars for this baby...

ovely it like the this concept car rather than mudflap and skids. hope this baby will be included to the next tranformers movie. I really like the black and orange concept of this baby.

Why would you combine, blue, with light brown, dark grey and orange? smiley Way to unbalanced color combinations both at exterior and interior separate, and then together the visual problem is even bigger!

I think the head of Chevrolet team is messed up! Way to much different small cars competing each other...!!!

When I first saw the preview image I thought that it is a tunned Volkswagen Golf smiley
