Citroen's->ke22 collaboration with Benefit Cosmetics has produced some sweet DS 3 special edition->ke2041 models since the two companies decided to team up in December 2013. The one-off pink DS 3 was such a hit that it spawned an immediate successor in March 2014 inspired by Benefit's "They're Real!" mascara line. Then in July 2014, a third special edition DS 3, the DS 3 DSign Noire, was launched at the "Fast and Fabulous" race weekend at Silverstone. Now here we are, the fourth DS 3 collaboration between Citroen and Benefit Cosmetics has been unveiled. This time, the car is taking its design cues from yet another one of Benefit Cosmetic's products: the 'Stay Flawless' primer. I'm not sure exactly what a primer does, but I do know that the DS 3 DStyle by Benefit looks completely at home with its predecessors.

This particular DS 3 Cabrio comes with plenty of exterior and interior styling cues inspired by the San Francisco-based cosmetics company. I can best describe it as a stylish infusion of feminine pizazz and the Bay Area's hipster vibe.

That's a pretty slick combination if you ask me. Altogether, the DS 3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit retails for £18,745, which is about $31,500 as of 8/5/2014.

Citroen DS 3 Cabrio DStyle by Benefit in detail

The DS 3 Cabrio DStyle carries a clean Polar White body that's complemented by Fuchsia Pink touches on the door mirrors and wheel center caps. It's not too pink that it becomes ostentatious, which is a good thing for a special-edition model that still wants to be treated with class. A 'Gabbi's Head' logo can be found on the model's b-pillars, while a Fuchsia Pink Benefit badge is prominently displayed on the rear section of the DS 3 Cabrio.

The interior of the DS3 Cabrio DStyle continues with more Benefit-inspired design cues. The dashboard gets a gloss-white trim with the upper part receiving Benefit's famous 'Stay Flawless' black and white polka-dot design, which doesn't look like it's for everyone. At least I know I'm not a big fan of it. I do like the bespoke black, velour floor mats. The fuchsia edging and the embroidered fuchsia Benefit logo prominently display the car's exclusivity compared to other DS 3 Cabrio models. Same with the key fob, which also has its own fuchsia pink insert and the 'Gabbi's Head' logo.

That's not to say that there aren't any Citroen goodies included in the program. The French automaker's City Signature pack has been added to the special-edition DS 3, fitting the chic hatch with a handful of features, including automatic digital air conditioning, automatic headlamps, automatic rain-sensing wipers, electrically heated and folding door mirrors, an electro-chrome rearview mirror, interior mood lighting, and a front central armrest.

As a special bonus to prospective female buyers of the DS 3 Cabrio DStyle, Benefit Cosmeics is throwing in its own Beauty Bag with every purchase of the vehicle. The bag will be delivered to the new owner and comes with the company's best makeup products, including the ‘Stay Flawless’ primer that the special edition Citroen is based on.
