To celebrate the opening of the DS World Paris on November 27th, Citroen prepared the special-edition DS3 that it dubbed the DS World Paris. The model will be displayed exclusively in Paris and will be limited to only 15 units.

The model was inspired by Art Deco architecture, and it reflects the French artisanal expertise. It is coated exclusively in matte ash grey combined with a Trinitario brown for the roof and wing mirror shells. Another special feature on this special DS3 is the new set of 17-inch wheels with a unique diamond effect.

For the interior, Citroen added seats wrapped in Trinitario brown Nappa leather with beige stitching. Citroen also made use of the same leather for the dashboard insert, gear lever handle and central armrest. Each unit also gets a specially numbered "DS World Paris" badge crafted in Burgundy oak.

There is no mention of what powers this DS3, nor does Citroen mention a price or release date.

After releasing arguably one of the most straight-forward press releases in the auto industry, Citroen bared its Frankfurt Auto Show plans and a big part of it will be the Cactus Concept , a car that has turned to be better than we previously thought.

After all the details of the Cactus Concept were bared, we couldn’t help by wonder how much of all the new technology, including the highly advertised "Air Bump" bumpers, will translate into the production model.

An indication of this technology seems points to bumpers that absorb the kind of damage that would’ve messed up any other bumper. The accompanying video after the jump even does a demonstration, although how much help the phrase "touch me" does when you accidentally touch your own monitor is a little misleading — you feel even worse when you realize that your monitor is not a touchscreen...

We’re guessing technology like ’Airbumps’ was what Citroen was aiming for when it said that it was embracing a “Pure, Simple, Smart" philosophy.

The Citroen C5 is looking quite fresh since its recent restyle that added softer double-chevron badges and a more flowing style for the company’s executive flagship from nose to tail.

The revisions really work: this car barely seems the same as the dowdy original model that launched for 2008. In fact, the two cars share a great deal of their styling and body panels, but tasteful new detailing is much better than the deep black sills and bumpers that cheapened the appearance of the original Citroen .

Reading reviews in international magazines is always interesting, but not quite as informative as it could be with all the measurements in metric. For most American enthusiasts, reading the horsepower in ‘kW’ and torque in ‘Nm’ might as well be meaningless.

This review of the C5 corrects those gaps in our collective ability to convert number formats, and will also be unique because it evaluates the C5 based on U.S. buyer preferences. With pricing for the C5 that converts to about $40,000, this Citroen is a mid-size luxury car.

Key competition for the C5 in its home market comes from the Peugeot 508 and Renault Laguna , with real encroachment from the super-efficient 5 series BMW diesels in Europe.

With throne-like seating and a plush hydraulic suspension, is the C5 up to the task? Click past the jump for the full review of the revised 2013 Citroen C5.

Citroen will come to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with the DS3 Cabrio Racing — a concept car that combines the sporty feeling of a DS3 Racing hatchback with the sophistication of new DS3 Cabrio . The new concept was built by the Citroen Racing team and will offer some innovative features when compared to a base DS3 Cabrio .

The new DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept is offered in a bespoke Moondark matte textured grey paint combined with black chrome insertions on the door handles, trunk trim and door mirrors. The concept also sits on specially designed set of 19-inch alloy wheels painted in gloss black. The wheels are contrasted by brake calipers coated in Carmin red.

On the inside, the concept gets bucket seats in DS design with three types of fabric: Napa full-grain leather, DS-embossed leather and Alcantara. Citroen Racing also used Carmin red on the seats, dashboard, gearshift and the door side strips.

Under the hood, the concept retains the usual 1.6-liter engine that delivers a total of 202 horsepower.

French automaker, Citroen , is expected to be in attendance at the Shanghai Auto Show. But it won’t be there to just bask in the ambience; it’s headed there with a concept car, specifically called the DS Wild Rubis Concept.

As with most teaser photos (and videos) these days, Citroen didn’t reveal a whole lot of information surrounding the DS Wild Rubis Concept. What it did give us are a couple of teasers of the concept.

The teaser video, which you can find after the jump, plays to Citroen’s chic and metropolitan appeal, complete with a black and white treatment and minimal glimpses of the Wild Rubis Concept.

The photo, on the other hand, gives us a clear look at the concept’s headlights, or at least just one of them. As you can see, the new light setup is different from previous concepts we’ve seen from Citroen, particularly from the slit-like lights from the Technospace Concept .

We wouldn’t be surprised in the least bit if this is a prelude to a production model that will be available only in the Chinese market.

Regardless, expect to find out everything there is to know about the DS Wild Rubis Concept when it makes its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show later this month. In the meantime, click past the jump to see the teaser video of the concept.

Citroen C4 Picasso

Everyone was expecting to see the new Citroen Picasso revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, but the French company decided to only come with a concept version . The production version is continuing its testing session and our spy photographers have caught testing again in Sweden, but this time it was camo-free.

The new Picasso will be offered with the same engine range found in the C4, so that customers will have to choose between both petrol and HDi diesel engines. A hybrid version - Hybrid4 - similar to the one offered in the DS5 and Peugeot 3008 will also be offered.

Initially, the new Picasso will be offered as a five-door model, but a seven-seat model, called the C4 Grand Picasso, will also be offered.

The production version Picasso will likely be unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Citroen will be further expanding itsDS4 lineup with the addition of a new Electro Shot special edition that is will unveil at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The new Electro Shot will be built on the DStyle trim level and introduces the classic two-tone finish to the DS4 lineup.

The model combines gray exterior paint with a gloss-black roof and spoiler, plus chrome-finished door mirrors. The model will come with a set of black 17-inch alloy wheels. The interior will add leather seats, lots of metallic accents and a high-end infotainment system.

Citroen offered no details on the engine, but we are pretty sure the new DS4 Electro Shot will be offered with a 1.6-liter HDi 160 engine that will deliver a total of 110 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque.

The new DS4 Electro Shot will be the first Citroen model to be produced by the new customization workshop at the company’s Mulhouse production site.

Don’t get carried away with the cool Technospace Concept, as it is merely an insight on what to expect from the upcoming C4 Picasso MUV — one of the best-selling models for the French Automaker .

Slated to be shown off at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Technospace Concept looks production ready. Given the new radical design language that Citroen currently follows (Check out the Citroen DS5 for instance), expect the 2014 Picasso to retain minimal changes from the concept design.

If Citroen were to choose the above path, the 2014 Picasso will be 40 mm (1.57 inches) shorter in height than the outgoing model and 55 mm (2.16 inches) longer for extra cabin space. With these changes, the new Picasso will feature new proportions that delicately combine compactness and a large cabin space — a good aspect to impress customers looking for sheer practicality in a well-built package.

To befit the name, the car boasts several cool features to fascinate the children you will soon be ferrying such as a full-touch driving interface with a high-definition 12-inch panoramic screen.

The all-you-can-fit French van sits on Citroen’s new Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2) that aims to make the car lighter and more stable. And with an eco-friendly lineup in the cards, expect emission to be at a record level of 98 g/km.

The production version of the Technospace concept, aka the 2014 C4 Picasso will see the light of day from the second half of 2013. We’ll update this review once details fly by.
