The Dodge Avenger is a front wheel drive, mid-size sedan first introduced to the market as a two door coupe. It was re-introduced to the market in 2008 as a four door sports sedan. It is only available in two trim levels: SXT and the R/T.
The Avenger is powered by a choice of two different engines. The first is a 2.4L I4 mated to a 4-speed automatic. This engine option provides 173HP and 166 lb-ft of torque. The second option is a 3.5L V6 mated to a 6-speed automatic which gives the driver 235HP and 232 lb-ft of torque. This isn’t your Hemi-powered Charger, but it will do for those not ready for that kind of power.
