The Dodge Avenger is a front wheel drive, mid-size sedan first introduced to the market as a two door coupe. It was re-introduced to the market in 2008 as a four door sports sedan. It is only available in two trim levels: SXT and the R/T. The Avenger is powered by a choice of two different engines. The first is a 2.4L I4 mated to a 4-speed automatic. This engine option provides 173HP and 166 lb-ft of torque. The second option is a 3.5L V6 mated to a 6-speed automatic which gives the driver 235HP and 232 lb-ft of torque. 2008 Dodge Avenger pricing announced
Last week, at Detroit Auto Show, Dodge unveiled the 2008 Avenger Sedan. Today they have announced the starting price of all three trim levels. The base SE trim level, powered by a V4 engine with an output of 173 hp has a price od $18220. The SXT, powered by the same engine, but with a few upgrades of the interior it is priced at $19120.
