Chrysler ->ke21 and its subsidiaries -- Mopar, in particular -- are rolling into the 2013 SEMA Show with quite an amazing entourage of vehicles. Together they have developed over 20 new vehicles for this show, and one of them is a new Scat Package that pays tribute to legendary "Scat Pack Club" offered back in 1968.

The new package comes just in time to celebrate Scat's 45th anniversary, and it will be offered for the 2014 Dodge Challenger->ke249, Charger ->ke218 and Dart->ke4128 models. The new Scat Package will be available starting the spring of 2014.

For the Challenger, the Scat Package is all about bumping up the output of the 5.7-Liter HEMI V-8 and it will come in three different stages: Scat Package 1, 2 and 3. The only issue is that Chrysler has yet to formally announce how the kits will affect the HEMI's output.

Updated 04/03/2014: Dodge released today performance numbers and prices for the Scat 1, 2 and 3 packages offered for the 2014 Challenger. Check the new numbers after the jump.

Dodge Challenger with Scat Package in Detail

Engine Details

Scat Package 1 only includes three engine mods: a Mopar cold-air intake, Mopar cat-back exhaust and performance-calibrated engine controller. With these changes, the 5.7-liter V-8 engine will deliver an extra 18 horsepower and 18 pound-feet of torque, pushing the HEMI to 393 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of toque. If you want these upgrades you'll have to pay a total of $2,195.

Scat Package 2, includes all of the updates in the first package and tosses in a further-optimized engine calibration and a Mopar performance camshaft. With the Scat Pack 2 installed, the Challenger will deliver an extra 30 horsepower, giving it 405 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque. Scat Pack 2 is priced at $1,895 on top of the Scat Package 1.

Scat Package 3 adds in everything that the first two packages offered, plus it tosses in a performance calibration specifically developed for the Scat Package 3, Mopar performance CNC-ported cylinder heads for freer-flowing fuel, air and exhaust, a Mopar performance camshaft, and Mopar high-flow headers. All these updates managed to squeeze another 58 horsepower and 47 pound-feet of torque from the engine, pushing the 5.7-liter V-8 to 433 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque. The Scat 3 Package comes in at $4,995 tacked on top of the Scat 1 and Scat 2 prices.

In all three stages, the new Scat Package will also offer an electronic variable quick-dump side exhaust.

Other Add-On Equipment

Along with the under-hood updates, the new Scat Package also offers a black concept hood and side valence, a black fuel filler door, black hood pins, and sequential taillights.

The Scat Package also puts the Challenger atop a set of 20-inch Classic II aluminum wheels finished in Hyperblack II with a polished lip. This rims combine with an adjustable suspension kit with a coil-over kit and stabilizer bar to allow the muscle car to take all of this power onto a twisty mountain road.

The Scat Package also adds a few updates inside the cabin. These updates include black Katzkin leather seats with red stitching and a Dodge Challenger logo embroidered in bright red on the front seats, black leather door-panel inserts, a flat-bottom steering wheel and pistol grip shifter.

Red highlights on the seat-belt webbing and carpet bindings combined with satin-black on the chrome bezels, steering wheel, center stack, center console and door handle round out the interior modifications.
