The final model updated with the Scat Package for the 2013 SEMA Show->ke216 -- alongside the Challenger and Charger -- is the 2014 Dart. The new Scat Package was built as a tribute to the original Scat Pack launched in 1968, and comes just in time for its 45th anniversary.

Just as with the other two models, the new Scat Package is all about optimized engine calibration, and a handful of upgrades on the interior and exterior.

The new Scat Package comes in three different stages, with each offering a different level of power upgrades to help push the Dart to the next level. The Scat package is based on the 2014 Dart GT, which delivers 184 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque from its stock 2.4-liter Tigershark engine. With that sort of power in tow from the factory, we can see these Scat Packages hit over 200 horsepower.

Dodge Dart with Scat Package in Detail

Engine Details

The Scat Package 1 includes a cold-air intake, performance brake pads and a new short-throw shifter. A cold-air intake isn't going to boost the output too much, but it may add three or four horsepower to the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine.

The Scat Package 2 adds a custom engine calibration and a Mopar cat-back exhaust system on top of the first package's additions. This should be good enough to punch the Dart to over 200 horsepower.

The most powerful upgrades come with Scat Package 3, which includes everything from the second package, plus 13-inch vented rotors, four-piston front calipers and stainless steel lines, a performance suspension with an adjustable ride height, adjustable dampening struts, and front and rear sway bar.

Profile Details

Along with the engine upgrades, the 2014 Dart equipped with the Scat Package also offers the aero kit unveiled in the limited-edition Mopar ’13 Dart. It includes Mopar side sills, chin splitter and rear diffuser, and a unique new three-piece deck-lid spoiler to boost downforce.

The car rides on 19-by-8-inch lightweight gloss-black wheels with Mopar logo center caps.

Interior Details

For the interior, Mopar offers Katzkin performance leather seats, door bolster inserts with red borders, and red accent stitching on the seats, dash, armrest, wheel and shift boot. Adding a little contrast is black chrome on the door pulls, HVAC bezels, and shifter cluster.
