These are the words that can best describe the Arash AF-10 , a British supercar that’s considered the brainchild of Arash Farboud. And by luck, one of these bad boys is up for sale on Jameslist.
The AF-10 was built exclusively with carbon construction and aluminum honeycomb to give the car’s chassis more strength and rigidity. The British supercar is also powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 Corvette Z06-sourced engine, which produces 550 horsepower and 475 lb/ft of torque with a top speed of 205 mph.
Judging by those numbers alone, the AF-10 is most definitely no slouch pretending to be a high-powered machine. This fine piece of British machinery is the absolute real deal, so much so that a price tag of $1 million on Jameslist isn’t that far-fetched.
This particular AF-10 does come with 621 miles tacked on the odometer. It’s not a long distance by any measure, but it’s still something that prospective buyers just might want to hear about.
Arash Cars will bring the AF10 supercar at MPH The Prestige & Performance Motor Show featuring Top Gear Live. In UK, the AF10 will be priced at £620,000 and will come with modular carbon-fiber chassis and a 550bhp 7-liter V8 engine under the hood.
"We wanted to bring something different to the supercar table, and felt that the industry needed a new and invigorating face and hopefully this is something we have achieved. Combining perfect design, without compromising on power, plus having one of the best emissions levels in the world, the AF10 is set to be a fantastic new car for the market."
It’s been a long time coming, but Arash Cars has finally released the full specs for the Arash AF-10. The supercar is now available in its final version and customers can place their orders as of now. The AF-10’s prices will range from 360,000 euros for the base model all the way up to an astronomical 1,600,000 euros for the top model (that’s around $2million at the current exchange rates). Under the deck lid, the AF-10 is powered by a mid mounted 7.0 Liter LS7 sourced from a Corvette ZR-1 mounted to a six speed manual Graziano GT-ME1 gearbox. This engine is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 550 HP and 475 lb-ft of torque. The Arash AF-10 comes straight from the factory hitting a top speed of 205 MPH, however for those of you who crave more than the standard 550 HP offering, the British super car builder will also prepare an 800 HP and 1200 HP version. In order to satisfy the needs of super car enthusiasts who can’t afford the full size version, Arash is also preparing an AF-8 model.
Announced back in 2008, the British built Arash AF-10 super car is now an official production vehicle. The new sports car will go on sale for around $540,000 and if you want to park one in your driveway then you better hurry up, because over the 5 year production run only 70 units are scheduled to be produced.
The Arash super car is built with 100% carbon construction and uses an aluminum honeycomb complete with nomex panels to increase rigidity to provide the AF-10 ’s chassis with more strength. Instead of traditional glass the larger see through panels have been made out of lightweight non shatter and scratch resistant acrylic, however the much smaller side windows are made from laminated safety glass. All of the Arash AF-10’s body panels have been made using a carbon autoclave process which eliminates the need for excess resins and makes the parts even lighter and stiffer than ever.

Its been a few years since English carmaker Arash first brought the AF10 to the British Motor Show . Now Arash has rolled out a sleeker and shinier update that it is calling the final design for the Enzo-like AF10 supercar.
Powering the car will be the 7.0 liter V8 engine from the Corvette Z06 , tuned up to 530 hp, and working through a six-speed manual transmission. Future plans may include the supercharged V8 from the Corvette ZR-1 as well as a sequential gearbox.
AF10 features a carbon-fiber body that should help keep the weight to around 2,600 lbs. Arash plans to have the AF10 on sale by the end of 2009 with pricing starting at €214,000. At current exchange rates that will be about $290,000, which if the car came to the U.S. at that price would undercut competition like the Lamborghini Murcielago by about $40,000.
Arash Cars is now a brand owned by Arash Motor Company Ltd (Formerly known as Farboud Ltd). The brand and company have been emalgamated to form Arash Motor Company Ltd (AMC) in order to seperate the differences from any company Arash Farboud has been associated in the past.
