The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti came about in 2004 ready to replace the smaller 456M. This 2+2 seater fastback coupe featured a 5.7L V12 engine that produced 532 HP and 434 lb-ft of torque. This engine was mated to a six-speed automated transmission. The 612 Scaglietti’s life span was cut short in 2011 with the birth of its successor, the Ferrari FF. Ferrari has created a special version of the flagship V12 four-seater 612 Scaglietti liveried in police colours to be used when Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary relay starts the UK leg on 18th April. The relay is part of the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of when the first Ferrari car was produced in 1947 by Enzo Ferrari. Ferrari 612 get a HGT-S pack
Ferrari 612 was launched in 2004, but now Ferrari revealed a special HGT-S pack for it. It costs $14.500, almost nothing comparing to the $340.00 price of a 612. The changes are limited to 19-inch wheels at the front and yellow brake callipers. Under the skin, you get sports exhausts with valves that open at 3000rpm to make the noise even better, a revised control system for the adaptive suspension and shorter gearshift times. 4x4 Ferrari 612 spy shots
A new optional four-wheel drive system called "Insertable 4×4" is going to debut in the facelifted 612 Scaglietti, that was caught testing in Maranello. The new 612 takes some cues from the 599 GTB Fiorano. The test equipment on the front wheels is needed to measure the degree of front wheel slip in order to properly calibrate the computer system controlling how much power is being transferred.
