The Japanese really do know how to make an impression, especially when it comes to modifications to Italian supercars->ke177. Such is the case with LB Performance's work on the Ferrari 458. If you don't like your stock 458 and you have the finances to afford the program, LB Performance is one of those companies you should have on speed dial.

In this particular case, the Liberty Walk subsidiary decided on doing a carefully crafted upgrade on the 458 Spyder, complete with new components that not only give the exotic an enhanced look, but also give it added performance capabilities.

The kit features a load of hot new items, highlighted by a custom front and rear spoilers and custom side skirts to go with wider wheel arches and rivets you don't normally see on the the standard 458.

It's a unique kit that's different from what LB Performance's European counterparts have built in the past years, which is precisely why it's an attention-grabber in its own damn right.

For the privilege of having it fitted into your Ferrari->ke252 458, customers will have to shell out around €18,000 -- about $24,700 based on current exchange rates. That's a premium price to pay, but a custom-looking 458 never comes cheap.

The program fits well for both the coupe and spyder models of the 458 Italia.

With the LB Performance kit installed, this Italian stallion looks mighty different, doesn't it?

The new rear spoiler adds steady improvement on the look and performance of the supercar.

Some people may not like the added curves of the 458 Italia, but we think it speaks to how much sexier it can be with wider hips.

This is what a Ferrari 458 Italia is bound to look like when you let Japanese tuners run wild over it. Not that we're complaining.

2010 Ferrari 458 Italia

Ferrari unveiled the 458 Italia at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the F430. The model introduced a design language never seen before on a Ferrari model, plus, as expected, it comes with tons of punch under its hood.

We are talking about a 4.5-liter, V-8 engine that delivers a total of 570 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 398 pound-feet at 6,000 rpm. This output is enough to sprint the car from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.4 seconds, while top speed goes up to an impressive 201 mph.
