The Fiat Grande Punto was launched in India in 2009. The Punto comes with 4 engine options which include a 1.2 and a 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.3 litre diesel. There is also an option of the 1.3 diesel with
a VGT. Its competitors are the Honda Jazz, Tata indicant Vista, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia and the Toyota Etios Liva.
The Fiat Grande Punto is the result of the colaboration between Fiat and MS Design. The most aggressive of them is the Linea Race kit, a limited edition at a price of 3250 euro ($4200).
